if i were to define myself in corporate speak, then i'm a data-driven ux designer

my design pillars

Design with intention.

UX is complex, it's easy to get lost and try to do everything at once. Scoping the project, having definitive end goals (not solutions haha) is important.

Speak the language of the stakeholder.

UX as a discipline will cease to exist if we don't get buy-in from the people involved. Being evidence driven and balancing user and business goals is the way to go.

Ethics are cool.

Don't build traps into your products. Be open and transparent to your users - show hidden prices and think about their digital well-being.

Improvise and iterate.

Processes are not set in stone. Make the best out of the available resources, use the methods you have learned at appropriate occasions (not always in the same order!).
